Name of restaurant: Angelina, 13 June, dinner Number of pax: 5 a dog. Pet friendly: Yes. Food and service: this is a single story restaurant with cosy setting. There’s a U-shaped bar with high chairs, as well as sitting tables. For dinner, the menu is primary Kaiser menu, which consists of 4 main set, total 13 small but delicious dishes. They cater for vegan which was great. The set menu is priced at 68 GBP per person. The stuff was attentive and helpful. The dishes were refreshing and we engaged a great dinner in a nice atmosphere. We ordered a bottle of win to pair with the food. Overall, will i come back again? For a special occasion with great company, this is a place to be. Do make reservation in advance. Internal deco is cosy, with the entrance to the toilet with a neon sign in Mandarin, translated to “the place to pee” :-)

Incredible dinner, impeccable service and inventive and unique wine pairing that worked a treat complimenting the tasting menu perfectly. Amar one of the owners took the extra time to describe each dish and we were wowed by them all. Utter perfection. Complex flavours , satisfying dishes and beautiful presentation. Thank you for an astonishingly delicious and memorable dining experience.

I've been meaning to write a review for Angelina in Dalston Hackney for a while now—every time I walked past this gem, I felt guilty for not giving them the recognition they deserve. Conveniently located just a short walk for me, Angelina offers excellent food that consistently exceeds expectations. I was particularly curious about their take on Japanese and Italian cuisine, and the menu delivered a delightful fusion of flavors. Every dish was a testament to the culinary team's passion for quality and innovation. From beautifully presented starters to satisfying main courses, each plate was crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The subtle infusion of Japanese precision alongside Italian flair in some dishes created a unique dining experience that was both surprising and delicious. I initially booked a table outside, eager to enjoy the fresh air, but when the temperature dropped, I was more than happy to settle inside. The warm, inviting atmosphere and artful decor made the transition seamless, enhancing the overall dining experience. If you're nearby and looking for a place with excellent food and a creative twist on international cuisine, Angelina is a must-visit. Impressive menu with flavorful dishes in perfect succession and in just the right quantity! We celebrated a life event at Angelina recently and did the sharing menu which we can definitely recommend. The pasta was an absolute highlight, followed by the exceptional starters, but really everything was top notch. What didn’t impress as much was the service - at some point there was a shift change and while we had been served with a lot of care and attention for the majority of our meal, the next shift ignored us. A bit of a let down towards the end of our visit.

Wow what a very wholesome experience. We went to Angelina's yesterday for my wife's birthday. The venue beautiful calm and clean on the eye, the ethos of feel at home, eat how you like was super welcoming. The staff, were attentive, informative and had just the right balance of being talkative but not annoying. The food was excellent, a wide variety of dishes intricatly put together, with a burst of variety of flavours and textures. I don't beef, the restaurant accommodated this without any issues. The Yuzu and ginger drink was 10/10 better than the drinks we had in London earlier that day. The Japanese tea on the other hand wasn't to our taste buds. Every savoury dish was 10/10, the desserts weren't to my personal tastes, I would give these more 7/10. Overall a amazing experience and highly recommended.

I had an amazing dining experience at Angelina! The 13 course set menu was so flavourful and delicious and quite good value for money. We also ordered a special on top of the set menu (hibachi collar) and it was yummy! On top of that the service was impeccable, couldn’t have asked for friendlier waitstaff. Can’t wait to visit again in the future!

It was our first tasting-menu experience and it was mind blowing. Both the food and the wine pairing were absolutely outstanding. The staff was very professional, friendly and detail-oriented. The 13 dishes menu was outstanding, discovering new flavours with each bite, and the explanations from the staff were excellent. We were on the dinning room, on a corner that was quite private for ourselves so we could have a nice conversation in a very comfortable environment. We were celebrating an important occasion and we got a wine glass on the house and some candles with the dessert course. They treated us very well, we will always remember it!

Had an incredible dining experience at Angelina. A meal we’ll be talking about for a very long time. Each dish was perfectly balanced and beautifully executed. The staff were all wonderful, all so friendly and knowledgable about the food. Lucy looked after us so well and was a delight! We’ll be back.
